A vehicle drove into a crowd in Berlin, according to the fire department, around 30 people were injured.

According to the police, the accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Tauentzienstraße (near house number 13) near the Memorial Church and the Ku’damm. The vehicle is a car, a police spokesman said. The police and fire brigade were on duty.

The police spokesman, Thilo Cablitz, said: “We do not know at this point in time whether it is an intentional act or a traffic accident.” The suspected driver of the vehicle was arrested by police at the scene.
