Kevin-Prince Boateng married his fiancée Valentina Fradegrada in Italy on Saturday – and also on the moon.

Kevin-Prince Boateng (35) apparently likes it weird: On Saturday, the footballer not only married his fiancée Valentina Fradegrada in Italy, but also on the moon. This is possible thanks to the Metaverse, where real-time events can take place in 3D virtual environments. Her wedding planner Enzo Miccio (51) showed what that looks like in an Instagram post.

The “space wedding” therefore took place on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. It was the “first wedding in the Metaverse”. “The wish of the newlyweds was to be able to get married in a place where no one had ever done it. And how could I not fulfill their wish?” the post reads. The couple’s fans were also able to take part in the ceremony: through “exclusive NFT access”, i.e. by paying in cryptocurrency. According to the Italian “Vanity Fair”, these proceeds were donated to charity.

Romantic outdoor ceremony

The fashion magazine also published photos of the wedding in Italy. Accordingly, Boateng and Fradegrada said yes in Radicondoli in Tuscany. Around a hundred guests are said to have attended the outdoor ceremony. Fradegrada wore a simple white dress with a veil and a plunging neckline. Boateng opted for a dark suit.

Third marriage for Kevin-Prince Boateng

It is the third marriage for the footballer, who is currently under contract with Hertha BSC: from 2007 to 2011 he was married to Jennifer Boateng (born 1984), with whom he has a son, Jermaine-Prince. This was followed from 2016 to 2020 by the marriage to model Melissa Satta (36), from whom the son Maddox Prince (born 2014) comes.

The footballer finally met influencer and model Valentina Fradegrada in August 2021. The engagement followed in early December. Now the two are husband and wife.
