The new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder is here. In addition to Natalie Portman as a female Thor, it also shows Christian Bale as a villain.

The previous insights into the upcoming Marvel blockbuster “Thor: Love and Thunder” have always been colorful and humorous. The latest trailer also begins in this way and shows, for example, how the demigod Thor (Chris Hemsworth, 38), who has gone off the hook, trains again in superhero form. Then follows the break: For the first time, the upcoming villain Gorr the God Butcher can be seen, played by Oscar winner Christian Bale (48). And he has the potential to become the most terrifying villain in the entire MCU.

The scenes with Bale appear to have been literally drained of color. Ashen, bald and with orange eyes, the character promises to live up to her name: “The only ones the gods care about are themselves. That’s why I swear this: all gods will die.”

Finally more Natalie Portman

This should also include Natalie Portman’s (40) character Jane Foster. So far, her character, who for reasons still unknown has evolved into a female version of Thor, has only been shown sporadically. In the new trailer, on the other hand, she is not only allowed to swing Thor’s god’s hammer, but also verbally defy him. And seems to evoke feelings in her fellow gods and ex-boyfriend once more.

Although she proves her newfound quick-wittedness in about two minutes, but: “This is my first villain.” You never forget the first one, replies Thor, who is known to have had to deal with Thanos and Co. before. Apropos: Two other beloved characters from the “Avenger” strips can also be seen for a fraction: Karen Gillan (34) as Nebula and Dave Bautista (53) as Drax. Just a small part of the cinema and Marvel stars who will be honored in “Love and Thunder” from July 6th.
