Elena Uhlig (46) stands in for her injured colleague Aglaia Szyszkowitz (54). The 46-year-old takes on the role of Sophie in the “Finally Friday in the First” series “Room with stable”. As the broadcaster announced, Szyszkowitz, the previous leading actress, contracted an acute herniated disc shortly before shooting. Two new films in the series have been in production in Upper Bavaria since May 31. Filming will continue until August 1, 2022.

The two new films have the working titles “The Miracle of Wiesenried” and “Sophie’s Deep Fall”. According to the broadcaster, the life of Sophie and Barthl, as well as that of the whole village, is “quite mixed up”: Wiesenried suddenly mutates into Bavarian Lourdes with endless streams of tourists due to an apparition of Mary, it says in advance about “The Miracle of Wiesenried”. Pension landlady and mayor Sophie (Elena Uhlig) uses the bloody tears of the Blessed Mother for business. Barthl (Friedrich von Thun), who lives in the barn, doesn’t like the flow of tourists just as much as the pseudo-religious fuss.
In “Sophie’s Deep Fall” Sophie is not only dependent on a wheelchair for a short time due to an accident, but also on her quarrelsome roommate Barthl, who meanwhile continues to run the pension. Apparently he develops unexpected talents…
In addition to Elena Uhlig and Friedrich von Thun, Philipp Sonntag, Bettina Mittendorfer and Carolin Garnier are back in front of the camera. Guest roles include Florian Stetter, Michael Grimm and Daniel Rodic.

The TV series “Room with Barn” has been running on the first channel since 2018. Since then, Aglaia Szyszkowitz and Friedrich von Thun have starred in the leading roles of Sophie and Barthl, who are arguing at the Fuchsbichlerhof. Nine films from the series have been shown so far.
