The Mandalorian is getting a third season. The new episodes won’t start until next year at Disney.

The Mandalorian returns for a third season. However, fans of the series from the “Star Wars” universe will have to be patient. The third season will not start until February 2023 at Disney. This was announced in a tweet via the Twitter account of the “Star Wars” franchise.

Those responsible named the start date as part of the “Star Wars Celebration” on Thursday. At the fan fair in Anaheim, the fans present also saw a teaser for the new season.

According to the clip, the next season is about the consequences that the Mandalorian has to bear for his sacrilege. By the end of the second season, he had removed his sacred helm in the presence of strangers, against the Mandalorian code of honor.

At the “Star Wars Celebration” the makers also announced the return of an important character in the new episodes. Katsee Sackhoff (42) is also in season three as the villain Bo-Katan Kryze.

In addition to the main character Mando, embodied by Pedro Pascal (47), the crowd favorite Grogu aka Baby Yoda is also returning.
