2021 was a record year for start-up financing in Germany. Now, however, investors’ money is no longer so loose. The scene prepares for a long lull.
Gorillas founder Kagan Sümer makes no secret of the fact that he believes his company is already in completely different spheres. “If we can fly to the moon, we shouldn’t have to go to the supermarket,” he says of his delivery service, which wants to bring groceries to the door within ten minutes. The sky is the limit – that also applied to his start-up.
