US star Nick Cannon is already the father of a large family at the age of 41. The upcoming eighth child could be his last.

Has the desire to have children been sufficiently satisfied? At least that’s the view comedian, moderator and rapper Nick Cannon (41) seems to have. The star is considering a vasectomy ahead of the birth of baby number eight, who is due later this year. The moderator of the US version of “The Masked Singer” revealed this as a virtual guest on the “Daily Pop” show.

“I’ve already been to the vasectomy consultation,” he confided to moderator duo Justin Sylvester (35) and Loni Love (50). “I don’t want to populate the entire world,” he joked. It also allows him to give his existing children the love and attention they deserve.

Extended family was not planned

Cannon also revealed that he didn’t exactly plan on being the father of so many children at the age of 41. But he has never regretted it: It was a “gift” and a “blessing”, according to Mariah Carey’s ex-husband. “I find comfort and peace in my children, and I find purpose in life.”

Cannon has twins Moroccan and Monroe (11) with pop star Carey. Dancer Brittany Bell (34) gave birth to two other children, son Golden (5) and daughter Powerful (1). Cannon fathered twins again thanks to his ex Abby De La Rosa, who gave him the cubs Zion and Zillion (11 months). His seventh child by Alyssa Scott, son Zen, died of a brain tumor last December at just five months old.

Cannon’s new girlfriend is model Bre Tiesi. It will be her first child. The couple revealed they are a boy at a gender reveal party.
