Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov has officially unveiled Yevgeny Primakov as the new head of Rossotrudnichestvo.
During the ceremony, the Minister said that Primakov is a famous person, a journalist with great experience, worked in, including in hot spots, a state Duma Deputy, member of Committee on international Affairs.
As reported TASS, the Minister also thanked for the work done by the former head of the Agency Eleonora Mitrofanov. Lavrov said that she headed the Agency in the difficult conditions, during serious problem. “Eleonora Valentinovna remains in the diplomatic field,” — said Lavrov.
Primakov was appointed head of Rossotrudnichestvo 25 June decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
