“Russophobia on the brink of barbarism” was named Chairman of the state Duma Committee on international Affairs Leonid Slutsky Ukraine’s decision to impose sanctions against Russian institutions of science and culture.

“Zelensky imposed sanctions against Hermitage, the Pushkin Museum, Moscow state University… Russophobia is on the verge of barbarism,” wrote the girl in his Twitter.

According to him, the gap of centuries-old cultural ties with Russia does not make Ukraine a fraternal richer or closer to Europe.

In addition to the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed on may 14, saying that Ukraine in three years imposes sanctions against institutions of culture and science. In the sanction list, in particular the Russian geographical society, the Hermitage, the Museum of fine arts named after as Pushkin, Lomonosov Moscow state University and several other institutions of science and culture.

by the decree Zelensky also enforced the decision of the Council of national security and defense of Ukraine on the extension of the ban on Russian websites and social networks for another three years.
